Frequently asked questions

What is Super 110s, 120s, 150s?

The Super number measures the fineness of the wool fiber. Higher = finer, softer, more luxurious — but more delicate. Super 110s/120s is the sweet spot for daily wear. Super 150s+ is for special occasions only.

Does fabric weight matter more than Super number?

Yes — for comfort, fabric weight (grams per meter) is far more important than the Super number. A heavy Super 150s suit will feel hot; a light Super 100s tropical weave will be cool.

Best fabric for a beach wedding?

Linen for casual-beach. Lightweight tropical wool in stone/beige/light grey for formal-beach. Never heavy wool or dark colors on sand.

Best fabric for a winter formal event?

320-360g wool for the classic look. Wool-cashmere blends for luxury. Flannel for country-formal. Avoid linen and cotton.

Does the fabric wrinkle?

Linen > cotton > wool. For travel, request high-twist Super 120s wool or wool-stretch blend — wrinkle recovery is excellent.

Can I order a fabric you don't have in the catalog?

Yes — we source bespoke fabrics. Send us a swatch or description via WhatsApp or Telegram, including mill-specific requests like Loro Piana or Vitale Barberis Canonico.
